More than Meets the Eye

When I started this blog, I was so unsure of myself.
Who would be interested in my ramblings?
How could I possible say anything that hasn't already been said?
But I kept moving forward and little by little I'm found my voice.
I'm still finding my voice really. Still discovering who I am as a writer.

Now, I feel limited by the topics I've chosen to focus on.
Though I still love my bloggy blog,these past few weeks of limited time has
shown how fractured my writing feels to me like I'm segregating myself.
In hiding these other pieces of me, I feel like I'm holding back.

So today, Jamie asks, What do you wish people knew about you?

In short, I wish people knew how multifaceted I am.

I wish people knew of my joys and struggles as a homeschooling mom
I wish people knew how much of a scifi/animation geek I am.
I wish people knew how much I love Britcoms.

I wish people knew how much being creative makes me happy and how I long to share the projects I make...like this Kermit knitting needle case I made

I wish people knew I still struggle; with making space for personal tea parties, with relationships especially in my relationship with Goddess, with self confidence (who am I to be amazing), with putting myself out here and showing up.

I wish people knew there is more to me than meets the eye.

Dionne though the specifics are different my wish also that people knew there was so much more to me than there appears. As you wish yourself, I also wish for you (and for myself).
